Ottawa, ON, Feb 18, 2009 -- People who rent mailboxes to receive mail outside of their home can all agree on one thing; it's a hassle to constantly check your mailbox only to find you have no mail.
Pick Yours Up, a software company in Ottawa decided to take charge and design a solution that would allow mailbox service providers to enhance their services with a notification component. The idea is pretty straight forward. If a customer receives mail, they should be able to get notified by phone, email, or SMS.
"Our notification system adapts to the mailbox service provider's workflow. For service providers that already have a management platform, our solution integrates with their existing system," said Ahmed Dirie, Developer at Pick Yours Up. "It's a simplified solution for service providers that are looking to centralize their customer management and notification services."
The beta system is current being used at various locations and has been successful. Locations using the beta have an average of 200 users or more, and have responded positively to the application. The notification system will be offered across Canada and the United States in the next week.
